For those who love marine fauna, the desert and geology we offer a trip along the southern coast of Peru; Paracas, Ica and Nazca, regions found along the Pacific Ocean coastline were home of ancient civilizations. This fascinating contrast between the desert and ocean makes us appreciate the greatest expression of nature. We will walk by the cliffs and enjoy the thousands of years old geological formations, fossils, sand dunes, oasis and the visit the Ballestas islands which host a huge variety of marine species. We’ll also visit the mysterious Nazca lines which still cause great interest and are subject to ongoing archaeological, anthropological and scientific investigations.

  • 04:00am: Early departure towards Paracas for excursion to the Ballestas Islands, after the tour of the islands we’ll visit the Paracas National Reserve.
  • In the afternoon: return to Lima.
  • *Optional flight over the Nazca Lines from Pisco’s airport (additional cost).
Day 1
  • Early departure to Paracas. Excursion to the Ballestas Islands and the Paracas National Reserve.
  • In the afternoon, transfer to Ica and overnight at Hotel Las Dunas.
Day 2
  • In the morning, excursion around Huacachina Oasis with dune buggies and have the experience to practice sandboarding.
  • In the afternoon, return to Lima.
  • * Optional flight over the Nazca Lines from Pisco or Ica airport (additional cost).
Day 1

  • In the morning, excursion around Huacachina Oasis with dune buggies and have the experience to practice sandboarding.
  • In the afternoon, transfer to Nazca town.
  • Overnight in Nazca.
Day 3
  • In the morning will explore de city center of Nazca and visit the Antonini Museum and the aqueducts of Cantalloc, ancient irrigation system belonged to Nazca civilization.
  • Early afternoon, return to Lima.
  • *Optional flight over the Nazca lines from Nazca’airport (additional cost)
Day 1
  • Departure towards Paracas, on the way we stop to visit Pachacamac, ancient pre-Colombian Sanctuary
  • In the afternoon, visit the Paracas National Reserve.
  • Overnight at Paracas.
Day 2
  • In the morning excursion to the Ballestas Islands, afterwards departure to Ica.
  • In the afternoon, excursion around Huacachina Oasis on dune buggies and have the experience to practice sand boarding.
  • From here, great chance to enjoy the sunset on the dunes.
  • Overnight at Hotel las Dunas.
Day 3
  • In the morning , driving towards Nazca town.In Nazca we’ll explore the local desert and its fascinating geology using special transport: dune buggy, the Nazca desert preserve ancient architectures such as Cahuachi, the most important ceremonial center of Nazca people.
  • Camping at Usaca desert
  • * Overnight the desert
Day 4
  • After breakfast, time to walk and explore the desert in Usaca, then drive back to Nazca town

  • In the afternoon, return to Lima
